Week 3 I'm already starting to feel comfortable here. I also feel a little sad because that means I only have one more week in Thailand. Monday, sept 11, 2023, that morning I taught 5th grade, but that day p' Jean had an assessment from her lecturer. So that day P' Jean, P' Kik and Anthony were not with me in the classroom. I tried to control the class. Googel translate is one of the tools I rely on to communicate well with students. I also asked my friend in Indonesia for help with communication subjects, so that students could hone their skills in speaking to foreigners. In the afternoon, Inna and I bought coconut ice cream and stopped in front of the elementary school. In the evening, Inna, Fatta and Timmy gathered together in front of the resort room. We cooked and joked together that night.

On the morning of Tuesday, September 12, I taught 4th grade grammar. I felt that my teaching performance was very bad. I cried at night thinking about how to teach better. I was also sad because I was going home to Indonesia soon.

On the morning of September 13, we were given a review by our mentor. The review was quite good and our teachers and mentors appreciated our efforts in teaching. We were also given advice to be more active in teaching to make lessons fun. In the afternoon Inna and I visited the kindergarten there. But it was nap time so we were only there for a short time. After I teaching, one of grade 6 students gave us a gift. I was very touched by it, because she made a craft from paper that she made herself.

On the morning of September 14, we didn't go to school. We went to Wat Ban Song, one of the schools in Wiang Sa. The place where Fatta was placed. The school is much bigger and more advanced than Wat Klong Chanuan Schools. Before going to school we bought Briyani rice for breakfast, then because we were there during the ceremony so we took the time to go to the Wat Ban Song temple first while waiting for the ceremony to finish. At Wat Ban Song we were given a tour of the English program building. After that we went to school for a while and continued to SRU after lunch. We did a campus tour. SRU campus is very large if it is similar to campuses in Semarang maybe like UNDIP or UNNES. Then we went to the education building. There are classrooms, laboratories, meeting places, microteaching rooms, and even a theater. The education building is still new and very extraordinary. After the campus tour we ate meatball noodles then went to the central mall and Ban Na San lake. I remember we had imagined about having a picnic there, but unfortunately time was short.

Saturday was our schedule for the city tour. This time we did not go with our mentor but with MR. Bat. We went to Krabi. It has beautiful beaches, but the weather was a bit not good. But we hope we can still enjoy the beach. First we had lunch with Khanom- Jeen, the same food we had last week. Then stopped on a Amphoe Nuea Khlong then to Amphoe Krabi- Pak Nam the icon of Krabi itself and to the ice cream shop. By the time we got to the ice cream shop, it was raining heavily. So we waited while eating ice cream. We continued our journey hoping that the weather would stay clear. But it turns out that until the beach is still drizzling which requires us to wear an umbrella. It was still raining so we were only there for a while. We were also given durian cookies by Mr.Bat which tasted unique and delicious.
